I normally need a minimum
24-hour notice to schedule a photo shoot (48 hours preferred), but I might

You will receive
eleven (This is the maximum
allowed for upload to our MLS)
images on compact disk in two formats; full resolution (300 dpi) images
for quality printing and images that are sized and optimized for upload to
the Sierra North Valley MLS (Paragon 3).
The images you receive for printing will be of
much higher quality than the web images. Paragon 3 wants large images with
a very small file size. This leads to an inescapable degradation of image
quality caused by pixel distortion that shows up in the form of slightly
wavy lines, banding in solid colors such as the sky, slight halos around
objects, slight blurriness, etc. Though it sounds terrible, these
effects are not noticed by most people unless it's pointed out to them.
I've sized the examples below to the requirements of Paragon 3 MLS
software, so this will give you a pretty good idea of what the images will
look like when uploaded to the MLS. The key is to
start with high quality images that are properly exposed without blurring. All photos are taken
with a state-of-the-art Nikon D70s Digital SLR camera then enhanced as
needed in PhotoShop to bring out the detail and color.
I'll provide quality
photographs, but I don't stage the home, make beds, light fireplaces, feed
the pets, etc. Please be sure the home is in the condition you want it to
be in for the photos. If the home is occupied please inform your
clients and advise them to straighten up and de-clutter if necessary
before my arrival. If it is vacant you might want to check it out yourself
to be sure it is ready for photographing. I can remove some items after
the fact, but this is done at an additional cost. I do not remove
permanent items such as trees, poles, and fences. Nor do I remove items
that are attached to the house.
