Under Exposure & Object Removal - If you were the owner of this mansion and decided to sell, which photo would you rather have people see when they are shopping for a new mansion? And would you really want prospective buyers to see a guy lurking about in the lawn? Probably not. Although I'm sure he's a great guy, removing him was the right thing to do. Underexposure like this is very common, especially when you have a lot of sky in the image. Speaking of sky, notice how I added some blue?

Under Exposure & Object Removal - This close-up of a front deck was underexposed. When I brought the detail out from the shadows it became obvious that there was a snow shovel and a blue snowboard leaning against the wall next to the wooden bear. I removed these as well as the basketball next to the rain gutter. The wooden bear was almost invisible in the first image.

Under Exposure & Object Removal - Here's another shot that was underexposed. I also removed the garbage can and snowboard from this one as well as the reflections they created on the wet pavement.

Object Removal - This one was only slightly underexposed. See how dark the recliner is in the first image? If you look closely you'll see that there is a big black dog sitting in the recliner. There is also a dog curled up in the love seat. Both were removed as well as the coats and flag hanging in the entryway and the sport drink bottle on the coffee table..

Exposure Correction - Sepia Tinting - Vignette The image at far left was obviously underexposed. The center image shows exposure correction while the right hand image shows application of sepia tint and faded edges (vignette effect). Be sure to check with your local board on MLS policy for special effects photos. If not allowed by your local MLS these types of images can be used to enhance your own website and brochures.
